Arteta was an important player for us at a time where we were losing players and struggling.

Abysmal display.

What the hell happened to Wengerball?

Past two seasons is the most boring football I've ever seen under Arsene - we've lost our identity.

Meant last season and so far this, Ozil's first season we were still quite entertaining.

I'm talking about our style of play being dull compared to Wenger sides of bygone years - trophies has nothing to do with it.

We've become static and insipid; there is no incision or pace in our play any longer, we move the ball around far too slowly.

We used to cut teams to ribbons, Wengerball has turned into Attritionball.

I haven't seen anything to excite me yet. Wasn't even happy about the goal today. Just thought, of course it was an own goal.

Lol obviously we will, as UFGN so aptly puts season after season where the wengerites hail a string of a few wins in an otherwise shit campaign as heroic - 'you do have to win some games to get 4th place you know'

So on the face of it - what in hell's name does improve even mean?

We're 5th right now, 5 points behind city who are leading. Technically you'd argue if we were 4th by christmas and 12 point of City that's an improvement? and we'd laugh our asses off

Even 3rd and a good 10+ points off of first wouldn't be beyond the reach of mr. wenger, given the end to last season, still shite given the circumstances but I'll give him that much credit

Call it at either 2nd and irrelevant of how many points off of first, or 3rd and within 8points, and throw in winning the CL group stage whilst still being in the FA cup and I'll consider it an improvement.

Way too demanding am I? - Just being specific and what most will assume lenient actually, under your interpretation of improvement could be anything on paper. Again we're 5th and 5 pts behind, no one is in an uproar over our position on paper, fundamentally we look dire.

Perhaps it's that you were referring to, improvement in footballing terms? Cool then let's suggest some metrics....goals scored? goals scored per game? goals scored between Giroud and or Walcott (and Welbeck lol). Throw some ideas at me

Well it would be also really difficult to play more shit for a team with these amount of "quality players" (compared to the majority of other PL teams) :P

- Their goalkeerper had the game of his life
- We should have had 10+ penalties .. shit ref
- If long term injured player xyz would have been available we would have won easily
