As Massa stated, he wasn't a DM really. More like a powerful CM who was more effective playing behind the striker. He's not a natural CAM, but his strength and presence has made him a formidable player to have (for United). Their POTS no doubt.

Feel sorry for Moyes, if he had used Fellani in this way every match at Utd he would of still be run out the club. However because it LVG he's lauded. Typical how this type of play gets so much praise in this country.

Plus stoke didn't have 200m to spend in one close season.
Actually pretty gutted man u won't be missing out on CL next year. Would have been interesting to see the details of the Adidas deal get exposed if there was no/reduced payouts due to no CL.
Tbf, it should be interesting to see them have to play more than just prem games next year too.
