I know he's not an MP anymore and has moved to NY :)

He's still a signed up member of the Labour party, and only needs to contest a safe seat in a by-election when someone inevitably defects or kicks the bucket in the next year or 2.

Five years as opposition leader is a long time, so ideally he comes in as the saviour of the Labour party after a couple of years.

He's probably over the whole thing, but that's what people said about Hillary...

Burnham is the man imo. He's carrying some shit because of Mid Staffs but i think he's the best and most articulate man for the job. I also like Steve Rothram but i doubt he'll stand.

I plain do not like Yvette Cooper.

Whoever comes on, I hope the Tories win, or else Labour will eff up the economy and cause lots of grief and misery again

Disgusting, defacing a document and disrespecting democracy. Typical Labour

This guy looks like he was hand-moulded by Rupert Murdoch, he spouts the same nonsensical rhetoric as his papers do.

Ever pause to consider they're right?

If Labour are so nice, why did we have no money left?

The country is one million, six hundred thousand million pounds in debt.

Thats £1.6 Trillion or over 80% of GDP.

The national debt has increased under the tories. Yep, increased. The DEFICIT has reduced but that is simply the rate at which the debt was INCREASING!!

But don't let facts get in the way of lazy ignorant rhetoric lol

Basic economics, you first reduce the deficit before ending the debt

Both the deficit and debt rose under Liebour

Do you understand how much money that is?

How little an impact on that number the cuts so far have made?

You could kill every elderly and disabled person in the country with even worse cuts and still make hardly any impact.

Meanwhile debt interest payments are 3% of GDP. Interest, not capital.

As a point of reference, spending on the military is 2%.

Shock horror labour voters rioting again, put the toys back in the pram, the country wanted blue.

Sims, that image is the depiction of scum. 4 police officers injured in riots as well, as if it's some joke, Tories won so let's cause chaos :/

The deficit was higher when Labour came into power than it was when they left. They even had us in a surplus for a period as well. Also, as I've said before, the Tories said in 2007 they would match Labour's spending were they in power.
