lol, so I've just seen the 2nd half and... WTF at those chelsea player's reactions at the end? The champion, 10 points off second, celebrating a 0-0 draw like that :rofll:

What happened is Chelsea wanted to make it seem like an Anfield '89 or Old Trafford '02 moment ; difference is they didn't win the match or the league against us but tried to force it with the joyous celebrations anyway and came off looking like the small time cu*ts they are.

Especially Terry.

Mourinho probably told him: "JT, if you keep a clean sheet today, you can have..."

I'll let you complete the sentence.

Imagine a league where everyone parked the bus and all big games played out with back 4s passing it between themselves.

If Bradford can score 4 goals against "parking the bus" Chelsea, why can't Arsenal?

They actually needed something from the Bradford game, so had to commit more than 3 of their 11 defenders to an attack on occasion and got caught out.

Still, no goals in 5 matches is as damning as it gets. Not an isolated incident.

Wenger has never been able to break Mourinho teams down; in three of our first four encounters against them we went scoreless as well - and that's when we had Henry and co.

Our style of play is a perfect fit to be nullified by his ultra defensive big team tactic tbf.

If we were a PG style big team, we could switch up to a more combative bull dozer style v their back 6 / conjested final third.

For every pass in between lanes, they had a man there. He purposely played Willian Ramires and Oscar because above all, they have engines to run all day. Willian and ramirez were filling in as fullback and cb respectively at times to keep that back 5/6.

They were never too far apart because there was never a point where they didn't have less than a back 4.

Ivanovic and Azpi literally did not put in one cross during the game iirc, they stayed in their defensive third.

Ultimately, our best bet would be to have more than just giroud as a physical presence. He was often jumping against 2-3 big guys with high balls, it was easy for them to pick him off.

Balls in behind or through defence could be picked up by any one of the back 5/6.

The only way I could see us racking up shots on target was to lash long rangers and that wasn't a real solution.

Until we get some more size amongst out midfielders and therefore more targets on set pieces, we will struggle against a mourinho parked bus imo.

No joke, a Fellaini at AM with giroud and an nzonzi at DM would probably cause them more problems than a full strength current size on Sunday.

Cos you got cocky v Bradford and thought all you had to do was turn up to win.

We're better than them so you respected us and parked the bus.

Anyway I've read Terry has commented on the boring boring chants as well. Damn it must have got to them. Yes they have won the title but much like the previous two no one will remember the titles. Only the boring football.

I know Jose won it in 04/05 but that season is remembered for liverpools CL win more than anything Chelsea did.

And the season later but once again overshadowed by a record breaking run to the CL final by a fellow London club. Can't remember which. Maybe Tottenham.

Just realised Chelsea won the double as well recently? Lol. Does anyone even remember that? Most pointless double in history. Was it the 10/11 season?

I'm pretty sure if you ask most Chelsea fans these days who Gianfranco Zola is, they will say something like "isn't that some kind of cheese?"

Chelsea have got the title but will forever be in our shadow. Only one number one club in London

Hell of a difference there.

Bradford is a team that doesn't want to take the incentive in a game like that and Mourinho is forced to change his tactic and to attack for a change - which he is unable to do and gets 4 goals in the process.

WHen playing Arsenal, he know that we'll take the ball while his team can sit up on the 16 yard box and wait for their chance on the counter.
