I only watched five of the movies mentioned above so far :dontknow: most of them are only nominated in Visual Effects :P

It's a travesty Ralph Fiennes didn't get a Best Actor nod for The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Gone Girl deserved far more nominations too, especially Best Adapted Screenplay.

Watch Boyhood ASAP.

It's from Linklater (Before series) and was shot for 12 years showing the growth of a boy from age 5 to 18.

Can't really contribute as I've only seen two of the films up for best picture: Grand Budapest and The Imitation Game.

Thought Budapest was brilliantly quirky and the settings were superb - I'd like that to win something.

Gone Girl was disappointing imo; I hope best actress goes to someone other than the chick who played batshit crazy Amy.
