Can someone confirm that we actually scored from a corner?

I refuse to believe that first GIF was taken today.

Any gifs of the coq challenges?

Tbf, we've been calling it for an assassin for donkeys, if coq comes in and does that but gets away with it, im cool with it.

Just realised we played today like some pub level fair weather w***er.

Having kids has done me in. Anyone care to give me a brief run down of what happened, how we played, post the goals etc?

Can't f***ing believe it.

Picked a doozy to miss, most comfortable performance of the season, no heart attacks we were in complete control from the starting whistle.

We showed up today, Santi kept up his impressive forum, Rosicky was Rosicky, Coquelin was solid,Alexis was God and with that solid base in midfield we pretty much controlled the game for the most part.

Plenty of great opportunities missed. Scored directly from a corner, not this is not a typo.

All round good solid performance.

We scored from a corner. Saw it with my own eyes , couldn't believe it for the first 10 minutes though. Coq should have gotten red twice , especially on that last tackle.

Given the heavy Christmas schedule we've had to endure plus the fact we fielded a very rotated squad, I think it was a good result and a decent enough performance to go with it. I was disappointed in how we equipped ourselves in the second half but by and large we were always in control and Hull rarely looked like they would be able to create much in front of goal.

I thought both Campbell and Walcott did okay given their respective lack of game time this season and did well for the most part. It was great to see Theo getting in behind the defence on occasion and once he shakes off the cobwebs I'm sure he'll be back in amongst the goals before long.

Cazorla and Alexis were both great and it's no surprise they combined well to score the second.

On a slightly sour note, Coquelin's two-footed lunge at the end was unbelievably stupid and he deserved to go for that. I hope Wenger makes a very strong point regarding that because it'll cost us if he does it again.

im sure you can tell by the fact the Wenger Out thread isn't popping about - unless the servers are down for it lol.

All serious though, MOTD is on tonight but we played okay! Sanchez bossing things as per and Coq/Theo played well.

Tbf, none of the normal WO crowd even responded or had anything to say about the performance today.

Would like to hear what you thought of the game?

Comfortable win. f***ing freezing. 2nd half was toilet.

No bad performances. Campbell needs to do better though.

Highlight was Ospinas goal kicks.

Good to get through. Hope for an away game hopefully.

I responded saying that it was a good result.
Does not change my view about Wenger.

One good performance against a small club at home off the tail of 4 straight dire performances and we have suddenly been proven wrong about Wenger?

Yeah, I don't think so. Let's see where we are in May.

A win is a win!!

Regardless of the limitations of some of the performance, we did more than enough to comfortably win the game, whcih we did.

My opinion on Wenger hasn't changed on foot of beating a Hull team which was as understrength as the Arsenal side.

We're in the 4th round -thats all that counts.

Atmosphere was really good last night, dunno what it is about FA Cup games but it seems the true fans go to these, always a good atmosphere when I've been. Being block 5 helped but sounded loud all round, even Cripps' upper tier sandwich brigade started a couple of chants.

Game itself was alright, first half was pretty good we looked solid and we weren't threatened at all. The CB's did well and was actually impressed with Chambers for what little he had to do. Second half was kind of drab, Arse were shooting towards our end but didn't really make much of a fist of it as Hull were so crap. Good play by Santi and Sanchez for the 2nd goal though. Thought our worst players were the fullbacks, neither did anything going forward and looked a bit weak defensively, Monreal really is crap at full back although he did make 2 good interceptiony type tackles I remember.

Basically Santi and Sanchez played well so we won, Rozza brought some energy and forward drive whilst a few others just played passenger. Coq did the defensive job and was motm of the first half by miles, second half he started sloppy but recovered and did ok.

And I think Ospina likes to take the piss with his kicks and run us out of breath because he takes forever! :D #OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSPINA
