Yep it's modular, my first one actually, got it in my current 2k7 (lol) rig as my previous PSU died recently. Only cost about £55, 82% efficiency under max load. Not planning to run SLI or Crossfire in the future, so 620watts should be more than sufficient.

Not very happy about the RAM prices though, 2x4 DDR3 sticks used to cost around £30 in 2012, now you pay more than twice that amount. Apparantly there was a fire in the Hynix RAM fab plant, and since they supply about 33% of RAM to the market it caused RAM prices to skyrocket... :crybaby:

Got lucky when I built mine. I ordered jan 2013, so got lots of nice deals, but my one mistake was to buy modular and save money on the PSU.

It was my first build, so didn't realise how infuriating it can be until I started tugging wires everywhere!

Don't think I'll ever go back to console tbf. Steam sales mean you can get most AAA titles for peanuts sooner or later, plus there's titles that pop up that were never ported to consoles.

Deep into Payday 2 atm, got it for £5 randomly on steam sale and have been on it every day. This and company of heroes 2 for £7.

PS4 and Xbone will always have these issues and are just expensive as f**k to maintain.

By the time you've bought 4 games and 3 more control pads, you down £350 extra on top of the console price and you are close to building your own PC with specs that would step on either console.

Plus, no one is going to charge you to play on line for a game that you have already bought, on a system you have already bought, on bandwidth you have already paid for ffs.

Bang on :)

Might give Payday 2 a try soon, got so much catching up to do with games released between 2k10 and now.

I don't know what PS4 brings but I was a very happy PS3 who currently owns only a PC. I wouldn't change Red Dead Redemption, Uncharteds or Heavy Rain to any PC game I've played with my current PC (bought it in 2011 Winter). Looking forward to buy a console.

Is anybody else having issues on the 'players met' function? Like it doesn't work on any games for me except COD Ghosts.

So much trouble to go through just to play online.

Play offline. Far more entertaining.
