Bacary Sagna - THANKYOU

I'd hoped he'd go to PSG but City's better than Chelsea. Anyway, a favourite player of mine and I can't have any complaints about him looking after his and his family's future. Merci, Bac.

I don't see why people are fine with him ''looking after his family's future'' or earning big money while he still can yet slaughtered Ashley Cole, Adebayor, Nasri and RVP for exactly the same thing??

He left Arsenal because they wouldn't give him £150k a week!!

I don't begrudge Sagna for leaving.

How can you? Blame Wenger and the Board. Sagna was professional through all of this. If we, as lifelong Gunners, are sick and tired of Wenger, his ways, and this Arsenal Board, why should a professional player like Sagna remain satisfied with Wenger/Arsenal's mediocrity?

It has, hasn't it?

It's the WC season so it hasn't sunk in yet. Once the WC is over and IF Wenger pulls off his usual bullshit, it's going to be a depressing summer and a long season ahead.

I do begrudge him.

We have just won some silverware, he is offered a great contract (for his age), things have improved, when compared to the last 5-6 yrs and he f***s off to City to earn even more and where he won't even be a regular starter.

Multi millionaires, eh? He needs to look out for his family's future. Poor lad.

As I said in a previous post, Bacary 'do one'.

Farewell Bac. Time for us to bring in another great RB who'll hopefully be as loyal to us as Bac once was. It made no sense for us to give him 150-180k p/w that is reported City's giving him.

Sagna set to join Manchester City

Bacary Sagna has agreed to join Manchester City after his contract with Arsenal expires on June 30.

Sagna, 31, signed for Arsenal from Auxerre in the summer of 2007 and went on to make a total of 284 appearances for the club.

An integral part of Arsenal’s defence over the past seven seasons, the France international brought his time with the Gunners to a fitting close last month when he helped the team win the FA Cup in his final match.

Everyone at Arsenal Football Club would like to thank Bacary for his fantastic contribution, and wish him all the best for the future.
