He's the best RB in the League and the best defensive RB in the World. As well as being a top man showing loyalty; he deserves anything he asks for. I love Carl as well, but he will never make the grade as a starting RB for us, though obviously I hope I'm proven wrong as he's one of the few whose a Gooner through and through in our team.

no player is bigger than the club. we need to move on.
the problem seems to be the person who has allowed him to run his contract down. he should never have been allowed to get into a position of dictating to us. wenger should have sold him last season if he didn't sign a new contract.
