Bacary Sagna to leave Arsenal at the end of season?

I don't think you can compare the sagna situation with the theo situation. theo is young and will still improve...sagna on the other hand is 31 and will not improve. sagna is also easier to remplace than theo IMO

Agreed.

I remember the forum having the same conversation about Walcott last year...eh, f**k him, good riddance, not worth 100K, etc.

Well, we didn't have Walcott for half a season this year. How did that turn out for us? Fell from 1st to 4th without his goals, and scraped through in the FA Cup against f***ing Hull.

Agree with you on the Walcott issue that was a good bit of business
Best thing since sliced bread liverpool lost 3-1 at f***ing hull though
Liverpool being 1 of the clubs we knocked out in our so easy they may well have just handed us the cup run
I would be gutted to see Sagna go

all you have to do in the f a cup is beat the team you play?
so what if we scraped through. where in the rules does it say you have to batter a team?

Youre saying you never for a second wondered what would have happened if Ramsey didn't bail us out yet again?
Ramsey did,nt stroll off the terrace and score that goal
He is a well paid member of the squad
He did his job

A bit off topic, but we got to 1st place without Walcott's goals: he was injured from September to December, we were top of the league during that time period.

He was injured for a month between sept 22nd to nov 22nd with an abdominal strain
During that period he put us in front in marseille
Equalised and got us back in the game at man city and scored and equalised at west ham

First off, that two months - not one.

Putting us ahead against Marseille has nothing to do with us being first in the PL - that's the CL.

He only netted 5 times in the PL so you can't say it was his goals that put us top of the table, even before his ACL tear, he missed loads of football.

I do agree, though, that we might've won the league if we had him and Ramsey available for the whole season - I reckon they would've scored 35+ goals between themselves.

If November came after Septmeber, yes - but you forgot about October.

I think you'll find that's more than 31 days.
