May be Sagna knows that he is the last top player left and he is next in line to be sold. May be he can sense it already. He has seen the club selling all the top players one after the other in successive windows. Current players are the best judge of a club's transfer policy and isn't it a wake up call if there wasn't one already that players have resigned to the fact that we are a selling club. When our last top player isn't sure of his stay at the club what message will it send out to players we are looking to sign? Selling Cesc, Nasri, RVP and Song in successive windows has not only seriously undermined our competitiveness on the pitch but also our profile as a club.
People said how Clichy wasn't good enough for Arsenal yet he had a terrific season for city last year.
People said how Na$ri was a one season wonder yet he has displaced Silva from the team.
People said how RVP was a one and a half season wonder and was a crock yet he has already scored a hatrick for United.
People said how Wenger was right in offloading song and i am sure he will have a great season for Barca.
This has to stop somewhere. Sometimes people need to stop making excuses for selling our best players one after the other. Sagna is such a player who will have a top season for anybody he signs for. He is world class ''defensively'' and is one of those players who manages to stay in form more often than not. He rarely has these very few horrific performances. After we sold RVP and Song were sold in the last window i do not feel anything. Nothing would surprise me anymore.
