Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger fears over Bacary Sagna injury
By Phil McNulty
Chief football writer

Arsenal fear defender Bacary Sagna faces a lengthy absence after he was stretchered off in the 2-1 north London derby defeat at Tottenham. Sagna was injured when he fell awkwardly after a challenge with Spurs defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said: "We are very worried about his injury. He's in hospital. "It is early to say but the first signs don't look good. It is the fibula and ankle and he has gone to be checked."

I like Jenkinson, but it doesn't do our defence any favours having to rely on a 19 year old.

Erm if Sanga is crocked then that means we have one RB in the squad and he's had all of 20 professional games? Another brilliant move by Wenger.

I'd play Coquelin there rather than Jenkinson.

Wouldn't be an Arsenal game without a serious injury to one of our players.
