Out for 3 weeks?

Out for 3 weeks?

News is coming out of France that Bacary Sagna will be out for three weeks after sustaining injury to his thigh. This comes as a blow for gooners who were expecting Wenger to have a fit squad to choose from for the next games. Deputy Emanuel Eboue who is also on international duty so far has reported no injury and will be most likely to start for the injured Frenchman for Arsenal’s next match against Birmingham. ...

TBH, Eboue offers a lot more going forward than Sagna and is a decent back up

When did we ever expect to have a fit squad?

Our full backs dont defend anyway so its not like it will leave us short at the back.

I agree, losing Sagna isn't an injury that will stir up 'oh we lost the title' thoughts

I guess nobody remembers the Tottenham game where Eboue would just disappear up the pitch leaving Djourou to deal with 2/3 attackers running right at him then?

Yeah I'm not as enthusiastic as you lot seem to be...

I'm feeling a bit more confident seeing as its against Birmingham.

You probably will get a successful argument against me but I am more confident against Birmingham than against Spurs.

But yet again we are on a losing streak in the league but Eboue can provide something new to the defense hopefully

If we can hold on to the ball and crack open Birmingham, i guess we'll probably be good with Eboue.
But up against quality teams like Manure or Chelski, we'll probably get slaughtered at right back.

Three weeks, not one... and knowing how our players come back soooooo quickly, it will probably be at least 5.

So we're talking at least B'ham, @ City, @ Newcastle and Shahktar in the CL.

And let's not forget that City put 4 past us last term with our full strength back four. I'm far less than excited. And we may still be without TV then.

Ah yes, forgot about our following games

I'm not feeling great for the City fixture, anything can happen up north against Newcastle but we'll probably beat Donetsk easily.
