Bacary Sagna believes Arsenal "play too much" and fail to put victories ahead of performances.
Arsenal have long been considered one of the most stylish teams on the continent, but it is now five years since Arsene Wenger brought silverware to the club.
Following their Champions League exit this week, Arsenal are now focused solely on the Premier League but, with a three-point gap to make up on leaders Chelsea and only five games remaining, Sagna wants to see his team-mates adopt more of a winning mentality.
"Sometimes I think we play too much," he said. "We just want to do that and do not think about what is good for us.
"Sometimes we just need to cut out the football, stop playing for a bit and just consider what will help us achieve what we want."
Sagna admits, however, that Arsenal were simply outclassed against Barca after the 4-1 defeat at Camp Nou on Tuesday.
"We wanted to play in every game with 100%, and we gave that against Barcelona," he said. "Barcelona were just better than us.
"Now we have to play again and try to be better than the other teams. We just want to play game after game and are still confident we can win something this season."
