Less to do with Tottenham winning, more to do with us being outside Europe. 2Pac and Biggie were still alive the last time it happened.

I see Ancelotti is working wonders at Everton still, guiding them to a 10th-placed finish.

people will say we bottled it but I don't think bottled is the correct term, we failed yes but it wasn't a bottle job, it was simply a lack of depth, our only attacking option off the bench was Ayoze Perez, that same problem happened last season, its a reason not an excuse, we need to sign more attacking players as a priority, hopefully Sowah with his shiny new work permit can become a quality option on the wing, Edouard from Celtic has long been rumoured too but we need at least another quality winger signed.

Schmeichel bottled it. Gets nugmegged and then scores an own goal. Karius-tier performance...

Imagine not caring whether Spurs win and finish above us and get into a European competition instead of us, however ridiculous that competition might be.

And you call yourselves Arsenal fans?

I care about finishing above Tottenham when it means something. Not when we're 8th and they're 7th.

And yeah that competition is ridiculous. They're welcome to it.

Couldn't give a shit about finishing Tottenham. I just wanted European football. I'm not an arrogant fan who thinks competitions are beneath us. I understand the history of the club. How poor we are and have been in Europe.

Just so happened to be that to get European football, we needed to finish above Tottenham. We failed.

It's a horror season. Not cos we finished below them but cos there's European football and it will kick in next season when every club is preparing to play in Europe and we're stuck watching corrie
