I care about finishing above Tottenham when it means something. Not when we're 8th and they're 7th.

And yeah that competition is ridiculous. They're welcome to it.

Worth about 30m a year plus all the sponsorship money the extra TV brings ... Spurs won't play a game until the final play-off round and they will be seeded for that ... it's easy money and a chance to play the reserves, it's not as if we don't need both.

management still have to plan for the games so it means distraction. it also means travelling to some far flung shithole in europe and thursday-sunday schedule. and first team players will be used no matter what people say, no team will put out their u23s so it will deff affect PL form.

Playing Thursday/Sunday affects your league form. The stats are there to prove it. Sky did a study a few years back and the result was it impacts your final league position negatively by an average of three places.

We don't need this nonsense or the Europa League for that matter. I'd rather wait until we reach top four and get straight into the CL.

Just so happened to be that to get European football, we needed to finish above Tottenham. We failed.

It's a horror season. Not cos we finished below them but cos there's European football and it will kick in next season when every club is preparing to play in Europe and we're stuck watching corrie

You speak for yourself, I wil NOT watch Corie.

The subs can shoot some hoops when they're warming up.

Agree.
The EL, never mind the Conference league, is a series of training matches for the vast majority of the season on Thursdays until the semi-final and final.

I think the real reason for the Europa Conference is an effort by UEFA to boost the reputation of the EL by introducing an even more sh*t tournament.

Top 3?

Definitely a legend for surpassing Rooney's Utd goal haul in his final game.
