2019/20 Fantasy Premier League

Postby Yago » Wed Aug 07, 2019 1:32 am

A new season is nearly upon is, and with that, of course, also FPL.

Unfortunately, I didn't check who won last season's minileague when it ended, so I can't congratulate the winner.

I have renewed the Goonersworld league, so all players who were in it last year and made a team for this year are automatically in it. If you didn't participate last year but still want to join, you can do so by following these instructions:
Register/login to your FPL account at https://fantasy.premierleague.com/. Make your team if you haven't already. Go to Leagues -> Create and join new leagues -> Join a league -> join private league. Then enter the code a0u990 and click Join league. Congrats, you're in.

League Code: a0u990

Use this topic to converse about picks and brag about your score.

Do you people have any Arsenal players in this year? I can't really find a good asset for now.

I'm in.

Had to pick Pepe. Man will light this league on fire, just watch.

I'm wanting to bring him and Tierney in but don't think I can risk it yet. I'll likely wildcard a few weeks in.

Fair play. I bummed out my defensive line to get him in for the points, while still having other strong starters so he can acclimate himself.

This is probably why I do poorly in these tbf.

I'm going 4-5-1 with my bench options being extremely cheap. Aubameyang up top.

433, PEA, Jota, Jimenez up top. Salah midfield :D

There's too many good midfielders this year to choose from. Lots of question marks on the attackers.

I did pick up Ceballos in case the rumored 40 games is true.

Not right now but he'll be one to watch imo. Got 3 goals, 8 assists in equal of ~22 90 minutes. Not bad for 6 mil and perhaps he could improve with more consistent minutes

Depends on how he does. I have Digne and Richarlison so really don't need more Everton players for now.

Iwobi is tempting, but considering the late transfer he might not start the first game. He's also lacked in end product... Going for Barkley.

I've joined.

Never played FPL in my life, so can't promise I won't lose interest along the way but at worst I've helped make up the numbers. ;)
