I was hoping so badly we got Klopp. Wasn’t meant to be.

Fingers crossed. This could be a really good week for us despite the expected loss to Liverpool.

It's a tragedy.

I feel another tragedy was not getting Conte when he was available last summer.

33rd minute, Tottenham shoot for the first time. But they will turn this around and score the winner in 90+ minute

What would you guys think about bringing in Allegri, if Emery does not make the cut for a third year?

Tottenham will win 2:1

Tottenham has been the luckiest team in the Top 5 leagues the past 3 years.

Mesut did with an inferior team and manager.

I do think some team will snap him up during season. The probability Chelsea, United, Real Madrid or some other big team fires their manager is quite big, and Allegri is one of the best available managers.

Somebody from the Bundesliga with a track record of developing young players would be a better fit for us.

Allegri has a good defensive record but he hasn't ever played or managed outside Italy and had no competition at Juve. I can see him going to Utd and doing OK with an unlimited budget. But he'd flop hard here.

If it's between Unai and Allegri, I'd take Allegri.

But, I'd prefer Nagelsmann. Personally, the promise of the premise is more important for me than the premise. I'd rather go for a manager who can give you wings to fly.

I'm not averse to giving Ljungberg a chance either. I was hellbent against hiring a newbie last summer. But after Unai and his ways, it wouldn't be that bad either.

I wonder how Spurs will fluke a win this week. Dodgy penalty? Huge deflection?
