Its really isn’t “Burnley’s matches unlikely to be played” it’s “Burnley’s assistant manager goes into self isolation”

It wasn’t just players tested it was staff too and only Norwich’s results are to come. Seriously stop being so dramatic

Watford players have also tested positive.
No way the season can restart, though it is quite sad to see everyone associated to Liverpool urging the season to start again.

Again 6 people out of nearly 750 tests were positive that’s less than 1%, the players will isolate until they are clear of this then return

can't bear for pool to win the title. However regardless, they'll also get shot down - whether the season continues or not it's the one that doesn't count.

3 of the 6 who tested positive are from Watford.

Who would want to play them?

Its crazy how people are taking such positive news to spin it as bad news. To say its 100% of people being tested as well it's not much worse rate than the rest of the country where we get f**k all tests.

It only takes one person to spread it, and we have 6. Just imagine all the people they possibly could have been in contact with. I'm not going to sit here and pretend like I know how this virus works, or that I have all the knowledge of it (like most seem to think), but that is the point, none of us do, nor do any of the so called experts it seems, as there has been nothing but contradictory information about it all. Just seems better to be safe to be honest. Just start a new season in 3 months like normal, assuming this has passed us by then.

Its to early yet, we have to finish the season though, it will be a 47 games period, championshop teams do 46 every year no biggie, you could scrap the fa and lc for this and next season if there is to many matches.

Thats the point in testing daily before contact though surely? They didn't come into contact with anyone else at the club to spread it.

How quickly are they getting these results back if they test daily? Are they being honest in saying they didn't have any contact with anyone (because many haven't been)? Also, they don't have to have contact with a person in order to spread it apparently, it can go thru the air from what I hear, or be on surfaces. I think the risk and the unknown out weigh anything positive about completing the season.
