The huge wave of sympathy for Cardiff just went right out of the window ... what utter shysters trying to avoid payment because their player has tragically died ... they took advantage of Nantes dire need for cash now the low-life won't pay up, if they hadn't screwed Nantes the lad would still be with us ... utter c****

They will get heaps of abuse for this ... thoroughly deserved

I think a lot of their questions are based on whether the agreed transfer broke any FIFA rules, particularly in regard to third party ownership of the player, and the credentials of the agents involved.

Questions they would have no doubt not asked had none of this happened.

But I guess £15m is £15m, and any organisation would be duty bound to examine every aspect before paying.

Truly are a disgusting club

I think any club would do it.

In the circumstances, you don’t pay that sort of money out unless you have to.

Really depends on insurance here. One of the two teams should be covered by their insurances.

Maybe you're right, and I'm glad we don't have to find out what Kroenke would do in the same circumstances ... but that doesn't make it right ... if you buy something then break it before the cheque has cleared do you get out of paying? no you don't. Cardiff are 120 years old, not the most liked club but then not the most disliked either ... screw Nantes out of their transfer fee and worse screw the Sala family out of their compensation and they will become the most despised club in the country ... is that really worth 15m?

It turns out that the agent who brokered the deal wasn't licensed to do so in the eyes of the regulatory authority. He was an agent appointed by Nantes.

The same agent who arranged that ill-fated flight on an aircraft flown by a pilot who by some accounts did not have a license for commercial passenger carrying.

I really can't blame Cardiff for raising some questions here. To just pay out the money under these circumstances would not be correct, or duly diligent under the laws of the authority.
