Our record remains intact but there goes the only opposition to City winning it again.

Spurs? They're in a title race and are 10 points ahead of us. Not a threat as they're guaranteed to finish 3rd at least unless they witness a catastrophic decline in coming weeks.

With Chelsea players entering bitch mode again, ManU appears to be our direct rival for that fourth spot now. Of course, Chelsea is still in the mix.

We have an easier run compared to ManU/Chelsea. Just Spurs away and the big ManU game at home. Spurs will beat us in all likelihood. But ManU also have Liverpool and City to play.

The game at the Emirates becomes all too crucial.

f***ing hell how times change :arsenal3:

Not much changed tbh. Angelito was just plain wrong.

Spurs have always been shit, so they were always going to crumble

I did say unless they witness a catastrophic decline, which it's safe to say, they did. What's plain wrong in that?

Not a threat as they're guaranteed to finish 3rd at least unless they witness a catastrophic decline in coming weeks.

So, let's semantics for a while.

- Spurs are guaranteed to finish 3rd at least—stems from tracking their form and expected points at the time.
- I've modified the initial statement by using a preposition that introduces another possibility suggesting within the sphere of the statement thatt there is a chance of Spurs collapsing, which would negate the earlier claim.

By the way, at this stage, they are still 3rd. The collapse is also well and truly on.

Tbh, I think Zedie was referring to the title challenge bit over the semantics mumbo jumbo that seems to have caught on fire.
