Wigan get really poor attendances.

I think it’s a rugby league town, where anyone who follows football would probably support one of the Manchester clubs.

Not so much Bolton but Wigan, my god. Awful football, awful ugly ground, crap away day, horrible town to visit, not many fans and the ones they have that I've met were dickheads

I'll always remember when we beat them twice away then at home in quick succession, and Owen Coyle was moaning like a bitch

Yeah buddy! it was them and Stoke that tried to bully us off the pitch with their anti football tactics.

Plus we had that one Bolton supporter on this forum for a while who was a real douche bag!

Following City's destruction of Chelsea this is the 16th Premier League game out of 25 in which City score from their first shot on target.

Talk about hitting the ground running on a consistent basis.

It was the aforementioned incident that drove him off the forum!

Number of goals scored against the English top 6 : Rooney, (54), Aguero (52), Vardy (33), Van Persie (31), Cristiano (28), Kane (23), Messi (22). Messi has never played in the Premier League.

Surprised that Vardy scored that much tbh. while playing top-level football only for a couple of seasons.

Vardy is a bonafide counter-attacking striker and he will get more of these type of opportunities against the top 6 than against mid table teams who are often less adventurous in committing men forward.

Having said that it's still a very impressive goal return indeed.
