They will still spend 100M+ this summer. Oil money ruining football, eh?
Football died years ago. We are all essentially drug addicts. Addicted to the sport.

Rafa is the only manager to beat Manchester City in the second half of the season. And he did it with a team that worths £40m.

Manager of the year easily.

That's a real shame. Maybe Steve macmanaman can frame that picture and hang it on his wall.

After The Invincibles season who would have ever thought we'd be sitting here 15 years later looking for our next title?

Liverpool's second goal yesterday was offside, sums up their season, with VAR next year a lot off the offside goals (between 3-11 depending on who you believe) diving, cheating, blatant favoritism that has carried them all season will have to stop. No denying they had a great season but when the playing field is more even then City are still a long way ahead. I seriously fancy us to challenge them next season ...

City will be in trouble too. They get away with murder because of no VAR and refs dont really question offside.

We should be fine however, we get f**k all most of the time. In fact it should be a net benefit for us.

City will likely benefit most with VAR. They almost always have the ball and many of the handball decisions will go in their favour with VAR

Brighton sack Chris Hughton.

I don't know what to say. What do they expect as a club? It's Brighton for Christ's sake. Staying up is a huge achievement.

Spent £70m and barely scraped it against a relegation side

They have the foundation to push into a mid table club, something a manager like hughton isn’t able to do

Big gamble but they need to do it if they want to establish themself

3 wins in the last 23 games. A total of 36 points.

He's rightfully been sacked. Any other season and Brighton would be down. As owners, you have to be proactive in these situations.

It was the right call. They've shown that they don't want to be bogged down into another relegation battle next season. Will they? Who knows. Should they do everything necessary to avoid that? Absolutely.

They almost always get offside goals and snide fouls too.

It's a moot point anyway as it all depends on how the technology is used and who is making the decision.

Look at the spurs v city handball farce in the CL for example.
