I think this'll be the year that Liverpool finally do it. They've lost none of their best players, bought extremely well and have a quality manager. I think it's worth remembering how difficult it is for teams to retain the Premier League - nobody has done it since United in 07/08 and 08/09 - and I think City's focus will primarily be on the Champions League this season. Still, I think it'll be incredibly close.

3-6th is anybody's guess. I can see United having a terrible season with Mourinho having his typical 3rd season meltdown, but I can also see them shithousing their way to multiple single goal wins and being in the title race. I think Spurs will stagnate this season and drop off a bit, whilst I can see Sarri getting Chelsea purring again (and it seems Hazard will stay there after all). I think we'll do better than last season in terms of performances/ points but whether that translates into a Champions League spot, who knows?

Anyway, my early prediction is:

1. Liverpool
2. City
3. Chelsea
4. Arsenal
5. United
6. Spurs

I'm most confident about Liverpool and City being the top two, more than anything. I can see us finishing anywhere from 3rd to 6th and not being that surprised either way.

1. Liverpool - Best starting XI. Also, their depth is vastly underrated—almost as good as City's. I have a feeling it's finally their season.
2. City - Best depth. I think they'll go balls to the wall in the CL and sacrifice the PL, though.
3. Arsenal - Emery gets us back on track. Our attacking quality alone suggests top four—best ST in the league and arguably the best creator.
4. Spurs - Solid squad. With major new signings, they could've pushed for the league, but there's a new stadium to pay for. Oh well.
5. United - Jose third season meltdown incoming. I've never seen a team have such good players that are also so meh at the same time.
6. Chelsea - Sarri gets them playing attractive football for the first time since Ancelotti, but Hazard is their only noteworthy attacking player.

18. Watford - Meh squad. Meh manager.
19. Huddersfield - Lucky to avoid relegation last season. Will lightning strike twice? I think not.
20. Cardiff City - Neil Warnock loooool gg. Their owner better fire him if they're to have a shot at staying up.

I agree on that. Maybe Arsenal and Spurs will swap positions.

Yep, Portugal XI will surely stay up. Fulham have a much better squad than half the bottom clubs as well, only Cardiff really look like they could go down from the promo's but even they are capable of draws and 1-0 wins under Warnock.

Liverpool are surely gonna break their PL hoodoo this season, they outmatch City in the H2H's and seem like they will get their shit together against the little sides now they've shored up the defence. Alisson is a big signing and Van Dijk will be more settled now.

Reckon City or Pool will win by <5 points from the other. United will 1-0 their way to 4th place and Sarriball will have Chelsea back in the top 4, although this is the one that really could go either way and we may steal their spot.
