Disgusting a top non league team Dulwich Hamlet are being forced out of their champion hill ground over unpaid fees totalling over 100k Rio Ferdinand who lives locally came in with a 10m takeover bid that was rejected.Dulwich who are sitting top of the league are very close to promoation to the conference I think this is scandalous that a club who attract well over 1,000 people on matchdays could be kicked out like this surely the fa should step in or are they spinless to?

If the owners can't or won't pay 100k in unpaid fees, how are they in any position to reject a takeover bid?

The FA don't care about grassroots clubs. Remember, they were the ones who recently sued Wembley FC because their badge dared to contain the word "Wembley", knowing that that club couldn't afford to fight the lawsuit.

Weirdly, I work with a guy that's a big hamlet fan. Was having this discussion the other day and he mentioned that the guy who owns it is a developer and is looking to sell the land/build on it iirc.

Pretty easy to turn down a 10m bid and refuse to pay a 100k if it means many times more in your back burner.
