Wayne Rooney banned after admitting drink-driving
http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-41298649
Former England captain Wayne Rooney has appeared in court and admitted drink-driving.
He was arrested when police stopped a car in Wilmslow, Cheshire, in the early hours on 1 September.
The 31-year-old was banned from driving for two years and ordered to perform 100 hours of unpaid work as part of a 12-month community order.
Rooney was also ordered to pay £170 when he appeared at Stockport Magistrates' Court.

Other people might be at risk of losing their job if they couldn't drive. Rooney pays a £170 fine.

Is it the Swiss system that means tests punshiment for it's citizens?

Ie if you're piss poor you get a £100 fine which could work out as a lot considering that could be half a weeks wages.

If you're Rooney, you get fined £100k or half your weeks wage.

We should use that system.

We can beat United this season. I don't feel the same against City. They look frightening.

KGB looks unstoppable. That's Kun, Gabriel, and de Bruyne.

Last year they won the first 6 games and looked unstoppable as well. I think it's more unlikely, that they would fall down this year with their current squad, but i wouldn't be too sure, that Pep can keep it up for a long time.
He's tactically like Wenger, just with better squads and a willingness to pay what's necessary.

Far more frightened of Man Utd than City.

We'll beat City at least once this season.

Yeah, as soon as they come up against someone half decent, they struggle. Glad we agree on this.

United beat Leicester comfortable 2:0 while Arsenal struggled. Glad we agree on this.

#GoonersWorldExcuses

- We should have had 10+ penalties .. shit ref
- If long term injured player xyz would have been available we would have won easily

scenes on here if we drew 1-1 to burnley at home

unlucky would be the last word used

Exactly
Some people are so quick to give latitude to other teams while casually damning us
Nobody under 50 will remember dropping a home point to burnley
Being 54 I am that soldier
74/75
Arsenal 0 burnley 1
With new signing brian Kidd, Islington darling charlie george( soon to be transfer listed) and 18 year old wonder Liam Brady it was with expectation that we turned up( but not many of us 23'000)
Burnley were as mid table as a bottle of sarsons and had injurys
There patched up side had a centre forward playing full back
Yet Peter noble( said fellow) found more space than nasa
Trust me
The pattering of upturned seats on leaving were not met with a chorus of gee were'nt we unlucky
The goal posts were the same dimension
If you don't put it between them and over the line more than the other side it's your fault
The bookies do not pay out on unlucky
All you will draw is your breath

And there you go
Another person doing Spurs pr for them
They have not won a home league game when level after the 54 min since burnley in December
Why would anybody know they will win?

4 would have done
Chelsea scored 3

So now Stoke have upgraded from relegation fodder to half decent?

Apols, I should have pointed out stoke are unlikely to get relegated and aren't a bad team.

How would you describe stoke and mourinhos inability to beat them with his billion pound project?

No team wins every game tbh

Not the Invincibles nor a billion pound team. Not even everyones beloved Pep and City side, I believe they drew against this poor excuse of a Everton side.

Thoughts on Jose being so defensive but his side scoring just as many as City who everyone claims to be the standard this season?
