fair play to levy. our lot could learn a thing or two.

took spurs to a CL final but had 4 months of bad performances and with top 4 under threat he's been given the chop. it took that bald useless fool gazidis 10 years to get rid of wenger.

Honestly don't think they can do much better than Poch. Kane is constantly injured, Alli was a flash in the pan and Eriksen has wanted to leave for a while now.

That said they are in 14th place after 12 games and 3 major signings so what option did the club have?

the new guy certainly has a big job on his hands.

a squad that's ageing, best players out of contract soon, up to their eyeballs in debt, no money to spend.

not looking good.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino: I would rather be a farmer than manage Arsenal

Mauricio Pochettino says he would rather work on his farm in Argentina than manage Arsenal, and says he’s currently working as if he’ll be at Tottenham forever.

The Spurs boss marked five years as a Premier League manager when he returned to former club Southampton last weekend, and his rise to the top level of management has seen links with the biggest jobs in football.

Before coming to the Premier League, Pochettino spent time in charge at Espanyol and has since repeatedly ruled out a move to Barcelona given their fierce rivalry.

Wherever he has worked, Pochettino has always formed a strong relationship with the fans. It seems he carries those relationships with him after moving on, even to the extent that he'd rather head home to Argentina and work on a farm before taking up a role at the Emirates.

"I am never going to be manager of Barcelona or Arsenal because I am so identified with Tottenham and Espanyol,” Pochettino told reporters. “I grew up in Newell's Old Boys and will never manage Rosario Central.

"That is my decision because I prefer to work on my farm in Argentina than in some places. But my commitment is massive in this club. I am working like I am going to be here forever.

"But in the end, it is like the players, you never know what is going to happen in football. It is a lot of rumours about this, about that.”
