Ranieri won the Copa Italia with Fiorentina. :cloud9:

He's a very good manager alright. Just didn't have bucket loads of money to spend (except for when Abramovich just arrived). Still embarassed us in the CL in 2004, whilst the team HE built won the League a year later.

Also, he's forever etched in PL history as the miracle worker. If you think of title wins, you'd either think of the Invincibles or Ranieri's Dream.

came into chelsea before the money and did well, fa cup final and CL qually despite only making 1 signing on a free transfer.
came 2nd to our invincibles and got to CL semi but didn't get the chance to take them on further
set chelsea's record points total before jose and fewest goals conceded

poor at valencia the 2nd time

saved parma from relegation

takes newly promoted juve (post scandal) straight into 3rd place n CL
topped a CL group containing real madrid
2nd in the league but sacked cos of jose's inter dominating n the two arguing

takes a shitty roma side to 2nd place behind the treble winning inter
roma lose coppa italia final 1-0 to the same team

poor at inter

joins monaco in ligue 2, get's them insta promoted. won the ligue 2 title for their first ever time.
2nd place the following season in ligue 1 behind the mighty PSG.

poor @ greece

takes LEICESTER CITY TO A PREMIER LEAGUE TITLE having been battling relegation under pearson the season before

Ranieri has never managed a club as big as Arsenal. That bloke Clive Burley put it well: as amazing as Arsene has been for Arsenal, Arsenal have been as good to him.

Inter in 2011 were on a free fall thanks to the ownership and Rafa messing up after Jose.

With Valencia, he won the CDR.

Ranieri is far from being a poor manager. He's a very good manager.

Because Liverpool are retarded; Serie A is dead; Real/Barca have too much politics aiding them, and City/United/Chelsea are just modern incarnations of instant success. :dontknow:
