Doping in football

An excerpt from this an interesting read.

Fair play to Rudi.

"But the most outspoken ex-player is Jean-Jacques Eydelie. In 2006 the former defender states that there was a systematic doping program at l’OM. He describes the scene just before the 1993 Champions League final against AC Milan:

On the day of the Final, Bernard Tapie demanded that all players should take a banned substance. All of us joined in a line, except one player: Rudi Völler. He was enraged and shouted German insults against the entire Marseille staff. He was really outside himself and could barely calm hilmself down.

Marseille won the match 1-0.

1994 "

Well... this basically means the greatest Belgian manager of all time was a partially a fraud, whether he was aware of it or not. :rofll:

Partially, because of what he has achieved with other clubs. Three major European trophies with Anderlecht for example. Or a third place finish with Belgium during Euro 1972.

Ffs Raymond.

Kudos to pedo stache.

Just let all athletes take performance enhancers or steroids, it's the entertainment business, so lets get entertained!

Ok. this is ridiculous.

These steriods and performance enhances is just all about money.

There are naturals remedies, herbs and aliments which can boost a human far more than these harsh compounds but we never hear about them because theres no profit in natural drugs. Only compounds which can be patented and sold for huge profits.

You guys need to look at Rick Simpson Hemp oil. this is a start to understnads whats really going on.

Huge increase in the speed of the English professional game and the athleticism of the players in the last 20 years.

How and why?

Just because there's more enthusis on fitness nowadays? Or because they're all microdosing in PEDs?

I wonder.

Well they are micro dosing in PEDS, they just happen to be legal ones. Wasn't it AW that introduced Kreatine (or whatever it's called) to the PL?

Players these days take care of their bodies and train much harder because the physicality is higher. I don't think that's because of illegal PEDS, although it would be stupid to rule that out.

Nope. This how english football has been played forever its just how the football is here .The same style is played at at grass root football.
Go to any amateur footy match on saturday/sunday .Same combative athletic reliance. Its just how it is.

Sport science and PEDS just augment that style at top levels.
