they played a severely shit team? Origi and can were the only main players who started.

Stuzza, Lallana n Firmino came on but couldn't get the goal.

Several teams made 9/10 changes .... Spuds, Utd, Dippers, City, Chelski .... Dipper's reserves looked shite the other four cruised through ... we made four changes and seriously struggled .... that says a lot about squad strength ...

When you look at the run in the squad will be vital ... 4 from 6 ... perhaps we should be worried ...

United still had basically a full strength team out and Reading fell apart cos United scored early. Spuds struggled for 70 mins against shitty Villa until Davies randomly popped up as a striker. Chelsea had just a couple of kids off a full team and played against a league 1 team. City had a full team out but smashed West Ham with a good performance.

Don't try and make out something worse for us than it was, yes we struggled but so did Liverpool and Spurs. The other 3 had strong teams out too and won comfortably, so what.

Tbh we won comfortably imo. Dogshit performance but there wasn't a moment where I wasn't certain we'd win

Go look at the number of changes made by each team then try that again .....

What's that got to do with anything? You said Spurs cruised through, they didn't. United cruised because they had 7 players out there that are either first team or first subs, they got an early goal which made it piss easy. Chelsea had At least 5 of the same and Man City had their full fit first XI bar Bravo.

Hang on ... the Spuds may be ****s but 70% possession, allowing only one shot on target, no bookings, no injuries, 2-0 ... that's still a cruise in anyone's language .... and remember they made NINE changes from their EPL side ....

Not saying we weren't dominant in our game because after half time we were ... but we still had to play flat out until nearly the last minute ... and we only made five changes ...

Utd, Chelski, City .... all game over before half-time .... basically a stroll in the park ....

FYI - Utd made NINE changes ..... Chelski made NINE changes ..... and City made FIVE changes away to an EPL side .....

Only the Dippers fecked up, and as I said it's because they have a piss poor squad ....

The fact is all the top sides can rotate a lot of players with only a marginal drop in performance, all except the Dippers that is .... I really thought we'd got the squad to a much higher level this season, let's hope they step it up in the next round ....
