Apparently over 10 thousand showed up last night just to watch Chelsea practice.

St. Louis is a big football (soccer) city, and yet they still can't bring a MLS team here. :BangHead:

Never know though, could be lots of goals to make it entertaining but I can't see good football being on show.

Also no team there cause city needed another. ;)

You'd have thought they'd move onto virgin pastures with a fresh fanbase to grow such as St. Louis rather than try to shove another sports team into New York.

That would be the logical thing. But we're not a big city like New York, investors are afraid of small markets, even though St. Louis has proved to be one of the best sport supporting cities in the US.

The Yankees are the key part of this deal as well. Put their logo on something and it sells all over the world to people who don't even really know what baseball is

What's funny is, the Yankees have their own network/channel and they play Arsenal games (only), and the show Arsenal World on it.

Yeah co-operate with City while having an own channel that shows Arsenal games.

Don't think Sheikh Mansour would approve.

I ended up with one too - Coca Cola Pavillion.

Think I'll boo Chelsea more, but I throw some city's way too :sneaky2:

Well I was wrong about it not being entertaining. City dominated the game but found ourselves 3-0 down somehow (although the penalty shouldn't of been given but who cares really). 17 shots in the first half.

Then 2 goals in a couple of minutes and it's 3-2 with 69mins gone.

Fans have definitely got their moneys worth.
