Was this at the Brook v Khan fight last night?

That kid was really lucky he didn't get wiped out by that fire extinguisher.

Khan might have had a chance if it was someone's mum he was fighting instead of Brook.

You've got to be an idiot to pick La Liga over the PL in the state they are in.

I think it'll be Man City, esp. if Mbappe rejects PSG's most recent offer.

Madrid will still be there in 4 years time. Haaland can join at 25 and still win everything.

Question is Benzema, man is still pulling the numbers at his ripe age so why would they bin him? Just because of the Haaland release clause expiring.

Would take just Mbappe if I was Real and let him settle in, become the star alongside Vini and Benz. See if Haaland moves or waits 1 more year.

He has to be one of the most ugly footballers I've seen, I noticed that about him at the Euros when he had the Paul Gascoigne hair style, just looks like a creepy little twirp.

Don’t expect anything to happen. The premier league likes the money too much. Just like with Roman. It took the Americans to sanction him before the premier league did anything.

I don't either, they climbed up and pulled the ladder up behind them.

There are no surprises here about City. They have been financially cheating since day 1.
Take a look at the Ferran Torres deal:

2020 they sign Torres for £30.15m
He plays 24 PL games and scores 7, eventually losing his place in the starting 11.
In 2021 they sell him for £50m - a £20m profit after 1 year on a flop.

Meanwhile, the club they sold him to, Barcelona - before they sign Torres - agree a new Barcelona Experience exhibition with the UAE.
Out of one pocket and into another to boost the City accounts - or simply give Barcelona a commercial opportunity if the y agree to launder some of the profit into City on an overpriced transfer.

It probably goes on time and time again - and Chelsea have been at it too - getting ridiculous transfer fees for young players.

Both clubs should be investigated fully and permanently banned from football if found to have been laundering money to tip the scales in their favour.

The PL are terrified of the money behind man city. They could tie them in knots and keep them in court for years and years.

When you have all the might of a wealthy state behind you, you can get away with these things. While smaller clubs who are not powerful and rich feel the full weight of the laws.

Manchester City footballer Benjamin Mendy charged with another rape

Manchester City footballer Benjamin Mendy has been charged with another count of rape.

The 27-year-old is now accused of eight counts of rape, one count of sexual assault and one count of attempted rape after a new complainant came forward.

Mr Mendy pleaded not guilty last month to all but the latest charge, which has not yet been put to him.

The details of the latest charge can be published after a reporting restriction was lifted at Chester Crown Court.

All of the offences are alleged to have taken place at Mr Mendy's home between October 2018 and August 2021.

Mr Mendy, from Prestbury in Cheshire, will go on trial on 25 July along with his co-defendant Louis Saha Matturie, 40, who has also entered not guilty pleas.

Mr Matturie, of Eccles, Salford, denies eight counts of rape and four counts of sexual assault, relating to eight young women, between July 2012 and August 2021.

Both men remain on bail ahead of the trial next month.

Mr Mendy, who has made 50 Premier League appearances for Manchester City since joining from Monaco in 2017 and has 10 international caps for France, was suspended by the club after being charged.
