Remember when Pep was going to win it all?

His agent looking for flights out to USA as we speak

I think a lot of people chip in way too early with these ridiculous predictions - a quadruple is preposterous and noone should be talking about one until May time (same with the invincibles talk - they still had HALF the season left to play when they lost). And, quite frankly, Man City are lucky to be in the League Cup final - they've really struggled against lower league opponents this year. If Wenger sets up right (a big IF) and Man City don't take us seriously, then we'll have a real chance.

Man City will also struggle to win the Champions League, it's just so hard to call that one this year. A lot of quality teams have the ability to knock them out.

Treble is definitely on.

That's two all but wrapped up.

Arsenal are surprise candidates to land Pep Guardiola with Bayern boss an avid admirer of Arsene Wenger and club's philosophy
Daily Mail, highest selling newspaper in the UK (Excluding Tabloids)

And Chips and Stan said no then, and kept Wenger on

Though some opinions that might need revising

Ad i have said before loves to build over already good squads and lacks the zeal to develop from scratch. He is a luxury manager suited for clubs with endless pits of money. We need a long term manager who wants to be there through thick and thin.

Not wanted or needed here.

Not a real treble.

That's like ManU winning the Double last season.

Both poverty trophies though.

PL+CL+any domestic cup is a proper treble

Anyway, City won't win the treble. Madrid back in form, Barca learning to grind it out and play properly on the counter, and Bayern will beat them. Scary how good they are though, definitely will get to the semis if they can avoid these three, no one else better.

Tbh, main part of the treble is the League+CL.

Sure, if they get only the PL+League cup, it's a poverty double , but add in the CL, and that's a treble.

Mourinho won the Poverty Treble last year:

League Cup, Europa League, Charity Shield.

League, CL and LC is a damn fine achievement - I don't think City will manage it, but they've got a shot - but it's not THE Treble. It's A Treble - second best one you can get. And certainly not a Poverty Treble - that's a just an abuse of the English language right there.

Apparently being targeted by right wing monkeys from Spain and other European countries for his support of Catalonia. Standing strong!
