Shame unfettered spending in the market has caused this predicament at a club trying to live within their means. Golly gee, real tough to see. Hope they manage to turn their fortunes around.

He's also said before that he wants to coach the USMNT before he retires.

I really hope the USSF doesn't screw that up if it becomes a real possibility. Pep as USMNT head coach for 2026 on home soil with Pulisic, McKennie, Adams, and others :cloud9:

We laugh at Emery charlatan'ing when interviewing for the Arsenal job.

But even that doesn't hold a candle to Pep. He's a fantastic coach, but he's also one of the biggest frauds in football history. He looks finished at City. I won't be surprised to see him leave at the end of this season because he can't stand a little adversity. Messi, Xavi, and Iniesta elevated him to heights he would've never otherwise reached.

If he really wanted to show the world he's not a one trick pony, he'd go try to revive Milan for his next job. But he'll probably sulk off to PSG in May after Tuchel fails to get them the CL - would say Juve but they just got Sarri.

Pep Guardiola says Manchester City "might not be able to compete" with the best teams in Europe and have to "accept that reality".
