Frosinone, Lazio, Fiorentina, Sporting and West Ham.

All linked with Perez within a space of a week.

Says he wants to stay and fight for his place.

Pretty standard during transfer negotiations. Looking for a golden handshake on the way out.

Him and welbeck are on the way out. None of them featured in any matches.

Coming to Arsenal was the worst thing he ever did, the guy was a decent striker before, just another Wenger signing that was a waste of time ........ we signed this guy remember because we screwed up not getting anyone else, another famous last minute panic buy.

Just wasted millions for nothing??

Also got snubbed by Jamie Vardy lol.

............ which caused us to get Laca and Auba so fk Vardy.

Tbf at the same time its fair play to him for being loyal to Leicester, a lot of other players wouldn't be.

I think it was more to do with it suiting him and his family.

Three or four kids at school etc. Settled in the area.

Took two seasons. By that logic auba willbe 32 and we will finally have a stud defence.

It wasnt about loyalty. He was a coward and backed out at the last minute. If it was about loyalty he would have never come to Arsenal grounds to sign the paperwork.

Would have rather kept him than. Yeah sure he was on not so low wages, but 3m for a player his quality is not enough

I thought Sporting Lisbon were offering £4m?

Poor guy, he's a better footballer than all this BS suggests.

I think at a club like Newcastle or West Ham he could do some damage, his skills are certainly better than those clubs are worth.

Maybe he'll link up well with Wilshere, they both have decent football brains.

As for the discussion earlier on Guendouzi, this is a prime example of when the fans actually gave Perez ( a signing we didn't endorse in the first place) more credit and patience than even the club has ever given him.

glad we're rid of his wages, hoping we can limit the amount of useless players we buy for too much money in the future.

His wages going is the most important thing. Who really gives a shit if we lose money as long as we reinvest.
