Now this is going to be a massive coup for Liverpool and going by BBC they are almost certain of landing him. I think Klopp is capable of turning their fortunes around although with the kind of squad Liverpool have it would be difficult to for Klopp in the beginning. I think Liverpool will be getting a world class Coach in a long long time. If given time and money he will do a good job. I am not saying Liverpool will be world beaters under Klopp just that Klopp will prove to be a catalyst for them to attract good players. PL will be new to Klopp and he will take his time but i think Liverpool already had back channel talks in place with Klopp before firing Brendan Rodgers.

He definitely needs time, that's for sure. Not sure if many EPL clubs offer such a luxury as time anymore.

It's a gamble but a gamble they need to take. Although everyone's a gamble really.

Interested to see how he does. It'd be naive for anyone to believe he can turn Liverpool into a CL club again straight away. You'll probably get the deluded scousers believing he'll be able to get Reus.

Over time Liverpool will become a reliable top 4 side.

5 reliable top 4 sides should make things interesting.

Klopp just gives Liverpool's top 4 target a bit more push. To win the league would require a lot of things to come together and everyone including Klopp would know his main target would be to make Liverpool qualify for the champions league which in itself is a really stern task. The problem for Klopp though is that Klopp would have preferred to come in the summer and make his own transfer signings that work with what Brendan left for him.

he's gonna find that he's not able to pick up cheap deals like he could when he was in germany. Also klopp hasnt had the best record in terms of signings over the the last 2 seasons. His signings have pretty much been awful or worse.

He will be able to help a bit with liverpools defensive game the only problem is i just dont see liverpool as having the type of players he needs to employ his system

Callum called this the other week. Soothsayer level 27.

Liverpool will still be shit for now, hopefully they don't make CL and he has trouble attracting top players else they may be a force in the future.

We have to get Simeone.

Surely we should be hoping the league becomes more competitive.
