He won trophies with a Moyes squad ffs at Man Utd.

Let's hope he fails for the first time ever at a club.

Depends on who stays or goes and who they get mourinho wont have signed if he wasn't promised a transfer fund

He's the one guy who won't be afraid to make changes

Poch was a failure and kept players too long. Jose will rip it up and build a new team.

We have to pray he fails

I think one of the main reasons Levy has had problems with Pochettino is his public demands for more transfer funds, and how that has caused a bad atmosphere.

And they appoint Mourinho!

Where will they get the money to build this new team?

Let's hope they don't have much. Jose has already said he's interested in the academy they have and doubt levy would've given him the job if he wasn't going to promote a few kids.

Mourinho would say anything to get his foot in the door for another payday.

He lives in London. It's a great deal for him. Another club paying him fortunes and he can still live in his Chelsea town house.

They have about 280m on account and made 110m profit last year, having just converted their debt into bonds they are probably in cash terms even richer than City at the moment .... add to that the fact they can double their wages and still be within FFP and you can easily see why Mourinho took the job .... remember that bloke Spurs nearly signed in the summer, Fernandes? same agent as Mourinho ... and that's just one name.

If - and agreed it's a feckin' massive if - but if Levy spends some of the massive cash pile Spurs have then Mourinho is the man ... or at least he has a proven track record ... remember if Mourinho fecks up again he's probably finished he must at least think he has Levy's support.

He spent in excess of £370m at Man Utd.

I'll say no more.

And finished second and won trophies there.

Thankfully the inept Woodward holds the power there and couldn't get who Jose wanted and needed

Levy will hopefully be the same

Poch leaving is terrible news. Did not get them at all with him at the helm

I think there are more clubs with money, than there are decent players available these days. Selling clubs are demanding top prices for mediocrity!

Managers who are proven at gelling mediocre players into a team are the ones we should be looking for.
