Tbf it is just going to sit there holding one athletic meeting a year. Might as well get used for something.

Yeah I agree jmiles. They got lucky, no point everyone being jealous.

Only thing that annoys me is how they started to bang on about freezing season ticket prices and cheap tickets etc. It's only cause they have shit loads of seats to fill so will do it in any way. They are using that to make them look better though which I find quite insulting to other teams.

EDIT: This is also the second time this month this guy has turned up on here and posted the same shit and same petition in 2 new threads while making no other posts.

If the tickets are made cheap then I see it as a good thing for that community.

You talk in that thread of making a casino f**k that, prefer to have a nice place kids can be inspired by rather than a place for people to blow their hard wages on.

West Ham is a private business. Its competitors had to spend large sums to get what they are getting, paid for by tax pounds, £40M of which came from LB Newham. A lot of those kids you want to inspire are living in cockroach infested temporary accommodation in Newham, and would be better inspired by having that £40M spent on better homes for them and their families.

Problem you just pick out of a hat who deserves houses and who dosent. What about people that worked hard to buy a house will they not be annoyed. They will also have to fund the houseing development. Stadium is history to dont think it should just be demolished.

Understand what you are saying but it is just luck for them really. Ideally what should happen is revenue percentage from tickets should go to the state.

Social housing is allocated according to need

A private multimillion pound football club does not need public money spent to subsidise it, especially when half that money is coming from one of the poorest local authorities in the country.

Its a scandal.

Yeah it is a good for the community but the 'holier than though' card they are playing is bullshit.

If the Scum ever play at MK I'm getting a matchday programme and having it framed, and its going on my living room wall.

I'm not joking either
