he did not failed he was homesick + injured.
he was always good for city when he played.

No he wasn't.

^

Padded his stats in the carling cup

Yep, think he scored a hat trick a little before that as well. So basically 6 goals in the other 31 league games. He was better in Europe going by his stats but I really can't remember who he scored against there (I don't care either starman if you're reading).

(tell him anyway starman if you're reading).

I just went to look when I saw that post and realised his other hat trick was in Europe against CSKA so drops his European stats down to not look as good lol.

32-9 PL
5-6 LC (5 against West Ham in the league cup semi over the 2 legs)
7-5 Europe
4-3 FA Cup

If I remember rightly, he seemed to smash most of his goals in around the same time then just went to shit.

21 starts in PL, he went downhill when you started using him as a sub and his early form still helped you to that title. His final season at Sevilla - 36 games in the league = 3035 mins but for you guys he plays only 4 games less ( 360 mins) and yet in 32 games his total mins played = 1724.

3035/25 = goal every 121 mins
1724/9 = goal every 191 mins

Yes he got worse but he wasn't horrendous, when you're not first choice at City you're going to be in trouble. ame gonna happen to Navas soon I'm sure, hopefully he also goes back to Spain and regains his first choice status.

Navas is first choice. That's a big problem though for us.

Jurado was once meant to be a future superstar, not really sure what happened to him but he went to schalke or something right? Wonder if he's still got it.

Negredo - He was very good up until December if I remember rightly? Looked like he fit right in and was scoring goals. After Christmas he faded away and then everyone forgot about him.

Funny how football can change so quickly.

Can't beat em? Join em.

If any of those players turn out good they will either get a good fee (schurrle/de bruyne) or a top player (courtois). I think it's shit as well but there's nothing stopping us trying the same.

France Football journalist @Nabil_djellit says that Di Maria should be presented by #PSG on Friday in America. Fee around €65m.
