Our Rivals - 2015/2016

Postby Newman123 » Tue Jun 30, 2015 8:06 pm

Thought I'd make a thread to talk about our rivals squad next year. What position you think they'd finish? Who do you think they'll sign? How will their new signing affect them and us? etc.

Mods feel free to change the title or remove the thread if its not needed.

Anyone think these lot will challenge this year? Its scary reading how many players they'll be signing. They can afford to just chuck money at their problem. Wouldn't surprise me to see them with a star studded team next year. I'd have them as dark horses for the upcoming season.

These guys are dead cert for the league this season I think. Not much can be added to the squad to make it better bar replacing willian with a better winger. How much we can challenge them this year remains a mystery. Even with a fully fit squad we still cant seem to beat these lot. Wengers tactics will be key this season to determine where we end up finishing in the league.

Ageing squad, no upcoming youth talents in their ranks and need to fill the HG quota. If their players play like they can and perform to the best of their abilities then these lot can challenge Chelsea the closest for the league. That remains to be seen though and I think they'll stagnate i.e. not improve but not really decline either. Once they fill their HG quota this season, then I think they'll buy better talents and challenge again next season. These guys are the hardest to read on how well they'll do this season.

All we need to do is start well and maintain our form from the end of last season. Cheslea will crumble as long as we do our thing. They where handed the title last year on everyone being total, total dogshit up until January!

We need to focus hard on beating the shitty teams convincingly. In big games last season we where ok,

Unless they buy big this summer I see them repeating their form from last season or possible being worse. Can't think of any players they have currently that will improve in the on coming season all are already in their prime or declining years.

If they get far in the CL, QF's they will drop off in the league.

Don't think we need three separate threads.

Too hard to call with Utd, they could bring in 4 or 5 players in the next few months. If they don't bring in any more new players then they will fight for top four again.

They won't be as strong in the league or won't finish as high.

Mourinho will focus on the CL more this year, expect resting players and more rotating. Besides a wide forward I don't see them signing any one new, oh and a new back up GK. :arse flag.gif: :arsenal3: :goal1: :arse fan:  :1990_dancing.gif:
