Van Persie. He was superlative . Best season I've ever seen from an Arsenal player - eclipses even any season Henry or Bergkamp had.

Also, Van Persie scored against the big sides - Chelsea x3, United x2, Liverpool x2, Spurs etc.

Suarez was a flat track bully.

I went for Suarez because he elevated last year's Liverpool side to an inch from the title... You could see the effect he had on every one. That squad should have been nowhere near winning the league but his brilliance inspired everyone around them to raise their game.

RVP was incredible in 2011/12 but I don't think he quite had that effect. Still stupidly good though.

While our second choice striker was Chamakh.
