For 40m?

Meh what does that even mean anymore, I just see it as we are light in midfield his an ok player a title winner i would take him, sure i would prefer serious quality like a tielemans but I welcome someone that will add depth and experience.

Wouldn't be surprised. There was always too much friction going by the reports over lukaku etc.

Now they seem to be stacking very similar players in central positions for some reason. Still not convinced on morata either. With Chelsea, it almost doesn't matter who else you have around hazard as long as he is fit and in form he makes every one look good. They'll have issues if he ever leaves.

Really liked what I've seen from him at Ajax - reckon he'll turn out to be a good signing for them.

Coutinho has told Jürgen Klopp, the Liverpool manager, he does not want to play for the club again but Liverpool will not sell. (Paul Joyce)

Rather stay at Liverpool than join Barca at the moment tbh.

At a time when Wonger says contracts will all be short term, Spuds sign this lad for six years ... if he 'fails' no doubt they will get their money back from someone ... if he proves to be a beast then off to Barca / RM in three years for a gazillion ...

Should have signed him for 12 months and let him go for nothing next summer ... ain't that right Wonger

Probably not but if he comes close to their level 42m is going to be fair price for them.
