Liverpool won't be on top for long at this rate. Stagnation will just see them going backwards. Klopp better hope that Salah, Mane, and Firmino can remain healthy, or that Minamino can step up if one of them is out for an extended period of time.

It did feel it was already getting like that before the season was postponed. They looked in a right mess. Not enough to cost them the title but it was clear they need more/new players to carry it on.

Yup. He chose the wrong club. No way he was going to develop there, few do. Had he stayed at Dortmund or moved to say Wolves or even Spurs he would have been far better off.

That's a very decent lineup, and the age / experience (added in brackets) is well balanced.

They've also got some really solid young options from the bench to cover those positions:

- Mount (21)
- Abraham (22)
- Hudon Odoi (19)
- Gilmour (18)
- Loftus-Cheek (24)
- Barkley (26)

Chelsea's recruitment policy since the big sending days has been really solid tbh.

Chelsea want to sign Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.

Leverkusen haven’t received a formal offer for the 20-year old but it’s believed Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have held talks.

Roman Abramovich is willing to give Frank Lampard significant backing this summer. As we’ve previously reported, a deal for Timo Werner is close and Hakim Ziyech will become a Chelsea player next month.

Leicester left-back Ben Chilwell remains Chelsea’s No.1 target with the club also interested in Declan Rice.

Yeah not a bad team. I don't think the front line is good enough mind you.

So many English talents starting to come through now. We need to tell Southgate to pack his bags and bring in a winner.

We should be competing with France to be the next Spain / Germany winning generation these next 5 - 10 years

Chelsea front 4 wont line up like that

Havertz is a strange one because he really is a striker for me with enough technical ability and intelligence to do a job in midfield, he's also be starting and finally excelling as a striker.

Ziyech will play attacking mid, Werner can work also as a wing forward with his pace.

If Chelsea buy a defender they may be serious title contenders if football ever starts next season.

So you put Bruno at CM who is bonafide Attacking mid and Pogba who's best used as a CM since he still probably dosen't even know his best position at AM :dontknow:
