I think Spurs have consolidated well and are the most likely team to finish in the top four outside of City and Liverpool. I don't think they've done nearly enough to bridge that gap and actually become challengers, though.

Of course not, they could have Man City’s squad and they still wouldn’t be challengers.

Don't blame him. Everyone needs a tree to put in their yards.

I miss Fellaini. He really made me laugh. that f***ing hair :rofll: He was so funny because hes so awkward to play against.

Has average technical ability but he's so useful and a nightmare to deal with in the air especially since he's so versatile, for corner and free kicks you have the center backs an maybe tall striker to deal with then Fellaini just causes total mayhem.

Giovani Lo Celso: Tottenham sign midfielder from Real Betis on permanent deal

Tottenham have made midfielder Giovani Lo Celso's loan move from Real Betis permanent, completing a £27.2m transfer.

The Argentina international has signed a deal until 2025.

The transfer was announced at the same time as it was confirmed that Christian Eriksen had left the club, moving to Inter Milan for a fee of around £16.9m.

Lo Celso has scored two goals in 20 appearances for Spurs so far this season.

A Spurs statement read: "We are delighted to announce that we have exercised the option to convert the loan of Giovani Lo Celso to a permanent transfer.

"The midfielder has produced impressive performances after establishing himself in the team following a hip injury which restricted his playing time in the early part of his loan at the club."

Don't blame Everton one bit after Barcelona paid £105 million (£142 million with clauses) for Coutinho.

I'd rinse those nutsacks for at least £120 million with the market they helped set.

Edit: 'Twas fake news.

Chelsea and Juventus open talks over Pjanic-Jorginho swap deal

• Juve manager Maurizio Sarri keen to reunite with Jorginho
• Barcelona and PSG also interested in Pjanic

Juventus and Chelsea have begun negotiations about a possible summer swap deal involving Miralem Pjanic and Jorginho. The Juventus manager, Maurizio Sarri, would like to sign the Italy international, with whom he worked at Napoli and Chelsea, and is ready to sacrifice Pjanic to do so.

The Serie A side have also had discussions about the Bosnian joining Barcelona or Paris St-Germain. The 30-year-old Pjanic, who has been at Juve since 2016, could potentially have ended up at Barça in a swap involving Arthur but the Brazilian decided to stay in Catalonia. The PSG sporting director, Leonardo, is a huge admirer of Pjanic.

Arthur’s decision meant Juventus stepped up negotiations with Chelsea to see whether they would consider letting Jorginho go. The midfielder joined the west London club two years ago, in the same summer as Sarri, and after a difficult first season has become one of Chelsea’s best performers.

Paradoxically, the improvement in form came after Sarri left for Juventus and was replaced by Frank Lampard. The 28-year-old spent three seasons with Sarri at Napoli before following him to Chelsea.

Pjanic has a contract wuntil 2023 but has failed to convince Sarri he is a key member of the squad.
