You have let your nation down.

We own it so we can change it as we see fit.

Get with the times, old man. It's not 1818.

American English is the dominant English around the world. English may have originally developed in England, but Americanization (notice the z instead of an s?) is the language's present and future, whether you like it or not.

So don't feel too insulted about being corrected by a Yank. He was only showing you the correct path, after all ;)

Come at me (ง •̀_•́)ง

Got a bunch of Americans ganging up on me, what is this, the War of Independence 2018?!!

The French are getting involved too?

............. but no one cares about the French?

I do. If they didn't help, I'd be a tea drinking w***er :hiding:

Probably about as good as yours still! ;)

you're( not going to catch me out you american gobshite :arse fan:) clearly jealous of getting humbled by the mighty in the panama group stage. You dream of that moment  bitter tears

I seem to remember another country being humbled by Central American team...

2014 FIFA World Cup Group D

1. Costa Rica (7pts)
2. Uruguay (6pts)
3. Italy (3pts)
4. England (1pt)

Italy 2-1 England
Uruguay 2-1 England
Costa Rica 0-0 England

Yeah it's a lot worse than that time a Central American team, Costa Rica, won the group while England finished last place with only 1pt. Ouch... (meanwhile the US advanced out of the group stages by finishing 2nd behind eventual WC winners Germany and ahead of Portugal and Ghana)

But hey, maybe this time England will get more than a point and not end up finishing below another Central American team...

Errhh unless you are talking about drainage you mean "sceptic" right?

Thank god us English are here to teach you yanks how to talk.

You guys wanted a grammar war ........ you got one b*tches!! make a typo at your peril.

That's how you really spell it there? It's definitely septic here. Septic Tank = Yank. Am I wrong?

Either way, that is rhyming slang, so doesn't count! :frogwink:

What do you mean when you say "fellow" septics? that makes no sense whatsoever, even in St Louis.

That's like me saying "when my fellow bins make fun of .........."

You've lost me mush.

Like saying my fellow Americans. I just chose to use your word. :dontknow:

Not sure what Guy Ritchie B-Movie you've been watching but I've never heard "Septic" used to describe "yank" and if there has been, its the saddest thing I've ever seen.

I've only heard septic tank = Yank in Green Street- which is even worse than a Guy Ritchie film.
