Big pay rises for Jack and Arron and you can forget any new signings ... we will have already maxed out our wages budget ....

Isn't that roughly what he's on now anyway?

Happy if he does sign the new deal.

Amazing really.

We try to get Jack to accept reduced pay (Which is a joke in this age of inflation anyway), and finally when other clubs try to sign him, offer him what he was asking in the first place.

Lol.... nobody wants Wilshere. This is just the case of "he is just like a new signing". Nothing more!

3 year deal 100k/wk. He was on 90k, not a substantial boost. It's a budget conscious move I think. He wouldn't' fetch as much to sell as he would cost to replace. I'm happy to see him stay fit for two seasons but I really thought we would see more with a run of games this long with no injuries.

To me this along with the pursuit of Seri indicates that there's an issue with the Ramsey contract. Maybe he's our big sale this year to fund some of the cost of incoming signings.

He is a 20m asset makes sense to get him signed up instead of lose him on a free
