But we shouldn't want to strengthen our rivals?

Rather Walcott than Reus, We have Alexis, Ox and Gnabry.

Not sure if srs. Would bite their hands off for a cash + Walcott deal for Reus.

Kinda frustrating no one today in the press conference asked a direct question about Walcott. Would have been intrigued to see Wenger's response, although doubt he would have given much away.

Why's is that weird? The only annoying thing is that Welbeck is starting ahead of him. But that's clearly because Welks can actually put in a defensive shift, something Theo doesn't do.

Otherwise, AOC is a better player. Sanchez is a much much better player. Sometimes Ozil is required to start wide. Competition for places and, in case you're in any doubt, Theo ain't exactly our best player.

Ox isn't anywhere near Theo's level.

Amongst those who can play in the wings-

Sanchez > Walcott > Ozil > Cazorla > Rosicky > Wilshere > Ox > Wele

Two developments it seems.

And Apparently Barca are keeping tabs on him

If he wants a pay rise then I don't mind us selling him in the summer, but I can't think of a conceivable reason why we're playing Welbeck ahead of him right now. Not only will we actually get what we pay 100k a week for but his price tag will actually increase as well

Walcott at Barcelona? That'd be such a misfit.

Why would Barcelona want to downgrade on Pedro they may aswell bring back Jeffren.

If he wants a pay rise then I can see us selling him, he's done absolutely nothing to warrant it.

13th of May 2012 Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish 3rd ahead of Newcastle. Gooney is still yet to leave the forum...

Well they did say he's the most dangerous player they've ever played against.

It's really worrying and suggests to me that Wenger is doing a Mr. Arrogance on it with Theo - sitting him on the bench till he signs/washes his socks/does what he's told.

There's no other reason for Theo to be sitting there at the moment, given that he is not injured.

I believe this is exactly what's happening. Power trip and it is completely pointless. If he is hesitant to sign a new deal that means he may well be off, we might as well utilize him while he's here.

I doubt this. I think it's more that there are 4 players who can play RW (Ox, Welbeck, Rosicky and Walcott) and Wenger rates what they do for the team more at this point. It's not like he's been all that wrong given the run we've been on (most points in the league since November).
