Not like a Song or Hleb going to Barca for the ££ and flopping.

I didn't slag anyone .......... I just quoted the article. :sneaky2:

lol, payback with change.

We gave them a striker who doesn't score ......... that's like me selling you a car that won't start. lol

1 fkin goal in 2018 /2019 :rofll: :rofll: :rofll:

Could you even imagine if that were Laca or Auba, its not even funny, yet some of the retards among us were happy having Le Donkey as our no1 striker??

"But, but ........ he won the World cup!!" fk outta here!

I wasn't happy with Giroud as our starter, but when he came on you as a sub he was great.

And he was still a part of one of the most beautiful goals in our history.

Had nothing but love for the club in a recent interview, even referred to Arsenal as “we”

No matter how limited or frustrating he was watching him play he had 110% commitment and adored Arsenal

A few of our previous players including legends should take note

Yeah, agreed with the above sentiments. Will always have a lot of love for him. He speaks of us with great fondness and I'e never heard him say a bad word about the club.

Despite his limitations, he still scored 105 goals for us and contributed significantly in each FA Cup final, with two assists for Ramsey's winners in 2014 and 2017, and he scored the 4th against Villa in the 2015 final.

He also scored the winning penalty in the Community Shield vs Chelsea in 2017 which was nice to win purely because of the opposition we were up against.

He will always be part of our history.

Signing Giroud in the summer as a Welbeck replacement would be a decent decision.

1 year contract with 1 year option

Would love it. He was great as a super sub in his last season with us. If we continued to play with 2 strikers, he will get plenty of playing time too.

You would actually want to sign a striker who has scored once this season?

That is not a Welbeck replacement, that is a down grade.

As a plan B I don't mind, he is more at home here so I would expect better performances and he is a good cook for better players.

I would prefer us get a mitrovic but it's financially unrealistic.

I think Giroud is actually a top bloke, from what we can see anyway, really like him outside of the pitch and the way he conducts himself. Cheating on his missus aside.

As for re-signing him....depending on cash he wouldn't be the worst freebie and plan b but his issue is he wants more game time so I don't see it happening. I don't want him starting for us on the regular ever again. I also think Wenger was the one who knew how to use him best, Chelsea haven't got the same production from him even as a sub.
