Chelsea lose 3-0 to Newcastle for the first time in years.

It's like having a shit static targetman up top means you can be pressured

He has kept defenders busy, has created space for Mbappé/Griezmann to thrive and has brought others into play.

Giroud hasn't set the world alight but hasn't been shocking either.

Been superb for France. Greismann and Mbappe play off him beautifully. Would’ve love to see him lead our line with Auba playing off.

A striker with no shot on target is superb

Does a good job when correctly used by a competent manager ... world cup semi-final can't be all bad - who knew that's how football works?

You said it mate. This guy was struggling until Wenger tapped him up and polished him into a world class front man. The Giroud that arrived at the Emirates and the one that departed are two different players.

When he arrived he had the legacy of Wrighty, Henry and RVP weighing down his confidence. When he left, he only had to compare himself to Welbeck, Walcott and Sanogo .

Even if you accept your fatuous "Wenger tapped him up and polished him into a world class front man"

Then what an absolute c*** that Wenger bloke must have been to sell him, on the cheap, to an EPL rival who then finished above us .... is that the point you were trying to make? that Wenger was a clueless c***?

This is some interesting psycho analysis. I never thought of it. But it’s has a profound impact on me. Thank you.

.......... then he did us all a favour.

This what I mean, Giroud for some strange reason is getting praise ........... yet he's not even scored this whole tournament.

Only at Arsenal are "some" of our fans so dumbed down that we continue to praise a striker who doesn't even score.

He's only scored 3 goals since he fkin left Arsenal in JANUARY!!!!!!!!, this is crazy behaviour, some of you have simply lost the plot.
