Top lad in an era where loyalty is scarce he showed great attitude and commitment.

Agree.

If I had to sum Giroud up in one word it would be "battler".

He may be the only gritty pretty boy in human history.

Best Giroud moment?

The assists in the cup finals were great. That scorpion kick goal was amazing

But clear winner for me is

Guarantee you he's going to score for fun now that he's play with wingers who can whip in a good cross like Hazard, Pedro and Willian as oppose to Iwobi and Walcott who couldn't cross for anything let alone beat a fullback.

If you look at the 'value for money' Chelsea won this three way deal hands down .... a proven EPL striker with a style exactly suited to their 'plan B' which could even become their 'plan A' if Morata keeps feckin' up .... now that's a good deal

I'm confident that we signed the best (even if unproven in the EPL) player but it cost us Sanchez (less Mkhi), Giroud and Walnut to do it .... Chelsea got Giroud on the cheap and all it cost them was a six month loan deal on a player they hardly use ....

Let's hope the Chelsea meltdown, prior to the inevitable Conte leaving this summer, is not halted by an ex-gunner .... we want their top four spot even if that is a long shot ....

Even so, give me PEA and Lacazette over Giroud and Morata all day long.

In future years Girouds fanboys will point to his being signed by Chelsea as proof of his quality.

Let it be on record for all time that it was basically him or Peter Crouch.

That was literally the choice they had.
